Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Analyser

The Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Analyser allows you to accurately assess your client’s skin tone prior to Laser treatments, or SPMU. This device takes the guesswork out of treatments and ensures an accurate assessment without the need for manual evaluation.

The Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Analyser will display the Fitzpatrick scale classification for human skin colour on the screen

Skin Types – As shown on the sensor

• Type I always burns never tans (palest; freckles).
• Type II (usually burns, tans minimally
• Type III sometimes mild burn, tans uniformly
• Type IV burns minimally always tans well (moderate brown)
• Type V very rarely burns, tans very easily (dark brown)
• Type VI never burns (deeply pigmented dark brown to darkest brown)

Product Instructions:

• The Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Analyser comes with a pre-installed battery within the device
• For hygiene ensure to sterilise the The Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Analyser before and after each use using a non-alcoholic wipe to clean the test window.
• Apply the test window to clean skin and ensure it is fully touching the treated areas then press the turn on/off button.
• The Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Analyser will detect the client’s skin tone automatically and a light will appear on the device.
• Always perform a double test for confirmation.
